About the role
General requirements for appointment to cadet
- Be a Kenyan citizen
- Cadets must possess Bachelor's Degree and minimum of KCSE grade of C+ (plus)
- Minimum of KCSE grade C- (Minus) for Diploma
- Be in possession of a valid Kenyan National Identity Card (ID) and KRA PIN Certificate
- Be between 18 – 28 years
- Have no criminal record
- Candidates must be medically fit
- Successful candidates MUST undergo NYS Paramilitary training for nine months at NYS Training College
- Certificate in computer application skills from a recognized institution
- Meet the requirements of Chapter six (6) of the Constitution
